A 6-year-old San Ysidro boy was hospitalized with severe head injuries on Tuesday, May 9, after his family's car was struck by an allegedly drunk driver. A border patrol officer with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division that was patrolling in the area came across the disabled car that had struck a guardrail and was turned around in traffic.
